Here’s What You Missed at PM-International’s World Management Congress

Published: 11/06/2019

PM-International’s annual World Management Congress just wrapped. Once again, all participants left with inspiration, new friends, and a whole lot of energy to break their limits in the second half of 2019! What really happened at the event that brings together people from more than 35 countries?

On June 7 and 8, more than 1,700 leaders from all around the world came to Frankfurt/Main, Germany for the company’s most anticipated events of the year. It was the ideal occasion to get up to speed about PM-International’s latest business and product news and network with the best in business. With the theme of “Break Your Limits,” it didn’t fall short of wowing its guests on a number of occasions.

One Billion Annual Turnover Within Reach

Strategically and economically, PM-International has set the course to break the one billion USD turnover mark in 2019. 516,481,000 products sold to date and the latest sales records are a testament to that. May 2019 marked a 30 % increase in the global sales figures compared to the previous year’s May results. In the same period, PM-International registered an incredible growth of 81 % in the APAC markets, 119 % in the Americas, and a 32 % in Germany.

“Thanks to your hard work, PM-International is well positioned to make history and crack the billion in 2019. However, it goes without saying that my vision goes far beyond that. I see it as my personal responsibility towards all of you to prepare for the future. After all, an enormous growth like this needs to be planned in advance,” CEO and Founder Rolf Sorg praised his sales force.

That’s why PM-International invests several million Euro in the recently approved expansion of its International Headquarters in Luxembourg, a fourth warehouse at its European Logistic Center in Germany, as well as extensive software and programming upgrades. In the second half of 2019, the company will also continue to invest heavily to enter new markets. Currently, the company is working to expand its business to Canada, China, Vietnam, Brazil, Indonesia, and Ukraine.

Rolf Sorg is convinced that there is plenty of room for further growth: “As of now, PM-International has a global market potential of 15.2 million core customers and 36 billion Euro, and both the world population and purchasing power will continue to grow over the next years.”

The Scoop: FitLine Beauty and FitLine skin Young Care

Among the highlights of this year’s WMC were several products launches. Needless to say that they have our partners and customers buzzing with excitement and opportunity. With the goal of looking and feeling younger again, the R&D experts at PM-International have developed the new FitLine Beauty: A unique nutritional supplement with collagen peptides and natural plant extracts that support beautiful, radiant skin.[1]   While FitLine Beauty supports the skin from inside, the FitLine Skin cosmetics family is growing too – just like the number of young people working with PM-International. That’s why the new FitLine Skin Young Care products have been specifically designed for all young skin types up to the age of 30. The product line consists of a Cleansing Foam, Peeling Mask, and a Balancing Cream for radiant skin and a smooth, soft feeling. All products are available as of now.

PM We Care: Charity Gala to Support World Vision WASH Project in Ghana

PM-International Charity Ambassador Vicki Sorg gave an update about the company’s longstanding cooperation with the relief, development, and advocacy organization World Vision. She announced PM-International’s goal to sponsor 500 additional children in an AP (Area Program) in Peru once the company reaches one billion USD turnover. Currently, PM-International sponsors 1,800 children around the world. Also, PM plans to support an additional WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) project to improve children’s wellbeing in the Krachi East region in Ghana.

This project aims at enabling access to safe water and improved sanitation and hygiene for 1,500 people, among others through the realization of five boreholes, as well as toilet blocks at schools in five communities. To support this project, PM-International plans a charity gala on the occasion of the next WMC in 2020.

“We believe that every child deserves access to safe water, as it is essential for health and wellbeing. I have already visited the Krachi East region as some of our sponsored children live there. I hope that this additional project will change the lives of children and families in this area for the better,” Vicki Sorg stated.

Big Emotions on Stage

One thing is for sure: PM-International’s rapid growth could not have been possible without the dedication of thousands of Team Partners. They’ve worked hard all year and at PM-International, outstanding commitment is always rewarded. The recognition of around 260 leaders achieving new ranks live on stage sent the audience into raptures, just like the international top-class athletes, among them former handball World Champion Christian “Blacky” Schwarzer and Severin Freund, ski jumper and winter games gold medalist, and show acts that made their appearance on stage.

After the official Congress program, the After-Work-Party offered ample opportunity to network, celebrate the achievements so far, and gain valuable tips and plenty of motivation to “Break Your Limits” also in the coming half of 2019.
