About PM We Care Foundation

PM-International has given to charities for over 20 years. Along the way, the PM We Care Foundation was created.  Our mission is to support children and communities by providing long-term, sustainable and focused help as well as emergency donations in times of need.

With each FitLine product sold, PM-International gives an “hour of life”, helping the most vulnerable children and their families to have a better life.Both our customers and our team partners enable people in need to have a better life. The face behind PM We Care

For more than 20 years, Vicki Sorg, wife of Rolf Sorg, is the Charity Ambassador of PM We Care. She actively leads on raising the profile of the Charity Foundation through global corporate events, social media, and campaigns. Vicki is working closely with long-term humanitarian partner World Vision, striving to give opportunities to the most vulnerable and helping them to become self-sufficient. She visits our projects, the children and their communities to see first-hand the changes happening for them.

Where we help

We are engaged in regional development projects, that are planned and implemented together with locals and run for approximately 10-15 years. Together with World Vision it is our main goal to empower people to help themselves. Currently, PM-International supports eight area programs. Get to know four of them:

Metapa, Nicaragua 600 sponsored children 

Focus on: Child protection, access to clean water & education

Metapa is considered one of the driest areas in the department of Matagalpa with extreme heatwaves in July and August. The dry climate has a negative impact on the harvest. Many households have no access to clean drinking water and toilets. There is an increased risk of disease transmission due to poor hygiene conditions. As a result, many parents are desperate and domestic violence, sexual abuse and drug abuse occur regularly. Our goal is to contribute to children and young people growing up in a non-violent, safe and healthy environment.

Chiquitos, Bolivia 870 sponsored children 

Focus on: Access to clean water, education & children’s right’s

Bolivia’s rainy season brings heavy rainfall and flooding, while periods of drought spark devastating bushfires. Access to clean water is rare, increasing challenges for families already struggling with agriculture and livestock farming. The majority of children in Chiquitos live below the poverty line, facing malnutrition and limited access to essentials like clean water and proper sanitation. Tragically, many are also orphaned. Our mission? To create safe, nurturing environments for children to thrive – at home and in school.

We support World Vision in training people in modern farming methods and enable them to start small businesses for additional income so that children can be adequately cared for. This also includes the construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of wells and water points for safe and clean drinking water in the communities and in schools.

Children and families in the slums of Phnom Penh suffer from the poor environment, promotion of hygiene and sanitation. We support World Vision in giving trainings that raise awareness on handwashing, safe water drinking and latrine using.
