We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Digital Imaging Technician to join our dynamic multimedia team in our office in Budapest, Hungary.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the digital workflow between our photographers, videographers, and post-production team. You will ensure the integrity, organization, and quality of our digital assets throughout the production process.

What are your responsibilities?

    • Manage and organize digital assets using our asset management systems (Iconik, Lucidlink, and Blackmagic Cloud).
    • Perform quality control checks on incoming photo and video files.
    • Generate proxies and transcripts for video assets.
    • Assist in setting up and maintaining folder structures according to company standards.
    • Support the team in file transfers, backups, and data management during productions.
    • Collaborate with photographers and videographers to ensure proper metadata tagging and file organization.
    • Assist in preparing files for post-production, including creating project files in DaVinci Resolve.
    • Manage and troubleshoot technical issues related to digital asset workflow.
    • Stay updated on the latest digital imaging technologies and workflows.
    • Contribute to the improvement of SOPs related to digital asset management and workflow.

    What are the requirements?

      • 2+ years of experience as a Digital Imaging Technician or similar role in photo/video production.
      • Proficiency in digital asset management systems, preferably Iconik and Lucidlink.
      • Strong knowledge of video and photo file formats, codecs, and color spaces.
      • Experience with DaVinci Resolve and other post-production software.
      • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
      • Strong problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills.
      • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
      • Good communication skills to interact with various team members.
      • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Experience with Blackmagic cameras and workflow.
      • Knowledge of color management and calibration techniques.
      • Familiarity with scripting or automation tools for file management.
      • Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools and workflows.
      • This position requires occasional work during non-standard hours to support production schedules. The ideal candidate will be a team player who can adapt to changing technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our digital workflow.
