Data processing by third parties
If PM-International passes on data to service providers (such as parcel service providers, payment service providers, etc.) in the context of sales management, PM-International concludes order processing contracts in each case. As a result, sales partners are not only bound to data protection by law, but also by contract with PM-International.
Personal and transaction-related data is transferred in accordance with the “EU standard contractual clauses” defined by the EU Commission.
Data protection for goods orders, personal user profiles
When ordering goods, PM-International collects personal data from customers in order to process and fulfill the order. The following customer data is collected, stored and used: Name, address, e-mail address, date of birth, telephone number, payment information and, in the case of payment by direct debit, the account details information and, if applicable, further bank details for credit card payments. The information you provide here is used exclusively to simplify your order process, for administrative purposes and for internal analysis. The legal basis for this processing of your personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR and is carried out for the purpose of fulfilling a contract concluded with you or for carrying out necessary, pre-contractual measures that are carried out at your request.
We obtain information for verifying your address (delivery validity check) from Creditreform Boniversum GmbH, Hellersbergstr. 11, 41460 Neuss. For this purpose, we transmit the necessary data (your full name, address, and possibly your date of birth) to the mentioned company. This company will also use this data for address verification and identity checks with other companies and for related scoring applications. Scoring calculates probability values for certain future behaviors based on mathematical-statistical methods, using the relevant data.
For credit reports, we additionally transmit data to Creditreform Boniversum GmbH. Creditreform Boniversum GmbH is a consumer credit agency that operates a database containing credit information on individuals. Based on this database, Creditreform provides credit information to its clients, which include, for example, credit institutions, leasing companies, insurance companies, telecommunications firms, debt collection companies, and various retail and wholesale businesses, as well as other companies providing goods or services. In compliance with legal regulations, some of the data in the information database is also used for supplying other business databases, including for address trading purposes.
In Creditreform Boniversum GmbH’s database, data is stored, particularly regarding names, addresses, dates of birth, possibly email addresses, payment behavior, and participation ratios of individuals. The purpose of processing the stored data is to provide information about the creditworthiness of the inquired individual. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR (EU) 2016/679. Information about these data may only be provided if a customer credibly demonstrates a legitimate interest in knowing this information. If data is transmitted to countries outside the EU, it is done based on the so-called “Standard Contractual Clauses.”
Data is stored as long as its knowledge is necessary for the purpose of storage. Typically, this is necessary for an initial storage period of three years. After this period, it is assessed whether continued storage is required; otherwise, the data is deleted on a day-to-day basis. In the event of a case resolution, data is deleted exactly three years after the resolution. Entries in the debtor register are deleted precisely three years after the date of the entry order in accordance with § 882e ZPO.
Legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR (EU) 2016/679 may include: credit decisions, business initiation, participation ratios, claims, credit checks, and enforcement information.
You have the right to request information from Creditreform Boniversum GmbH about the data stored about you. If the data stored about you is incorrect, you are entitled to correction or deletion. If it is not immediately clear whether the data is incorrect or correct, you have the right to block the data until the matter is resolved. If your data is incomplete, you can request its completion.
If you have given your consent to the processing of data stored at Creditreform Boniversum GmbH, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time. The withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your data based on your consent before the withdrawal.
If you have objections, requests, or complaints regarding data protection, you can contact the Data Protection Officer of Creditreform Boniversum GmbH at any time. They will assist you promptly and confidentially with any data protection concerns. You may also lodge complaints about the processing of data by Creditreform with the data protection authority responsible for your federal state.
The data that Creditreform Boniversum GmbH has about you comes from publicly accessible sources, collection agencies, and their clients. To describe your creditworthiness, Creditreform generates a score value based on your data. This score value includes data on age and gender, address data, and some payment experience data. These data are weighted differently in the score calculation. Creditreform clients use the score values as a tool for making their own credit decision
Right of objection:
The processing of data stored by Creditreform Boniversum GmbH is carried out for compelling, legitimate reasons related to creditor and credit protection, which regularly outweigh your interests, rights, and freedoms, or for the purpose of asserting, exercising, or defending legal claims. You may only object to the processing of your data if there are compelling reasons arising from your particular situation that must be proven. If such special reasons are proven, the data will no longer be processed. If you object to the processing of your data for advertising and marketing purposes, the data will no longer be processed for these purposes. Responsible according to Art. 4 para. 7 GDPR (EU) 2016/679 is Creditreform Boniversum GmbH.
PM-International uses your data for the following processes:

PM-International concludes data processing agreements with all external service providers that meet the requirements of Art. 28, 29 GDPR (EU) 2016-679.
You can revoke your consent at any time by clicking “unsubscribe here” at the end of a parcel information email. After revocation, we will delete your data provided for this purpose, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.
The data of the individual orders remain accessible in the password-protected user account of this website for the respective customer, in particular to enable follow-up orders of the products already purchased in the ordering system in a simple manner. The customer can view and change the inventory data stored for his customer account as well as the selected password at any time on this website in his user account – there in the “My data” section.
A customer can request the deletion of their account and all related data at any time by notifying us by mail, phone, or email at datenschutz@pm-international.de. In this case, PM-International will promptly delete all customer data, provided that its use is no longer necessary for processing an order or PM-International is not required to retain it due to tax regulations (§147 AO). In both cases, the data will be blocked and deleted as soon as possible.
