Software Engineer - Digital Marketing Team (Frontend)

We are looking for a Software engineer – digital marketing team (Frontend) for our office in Budapest, Hungary.

The digital marketing team at PM International is a dynamic team involved in several projects which involve e-commerce, CRM and digital products. As a software engineer in this team, you will play a key role in defining the roadmap of these projects as well as maintaining different products for the marketing team. Our main goal is to empower our distributors with more digital tools so that they can focus on what really matters – growing their business.

What are your responsibilities?

• Maintain and enhance an existing Next.js based application.
• Develop and implement new frontend features using React.js.
• Build and integrate React-based components for Storyblok CMS.
• Work with WordPress, Storyblok and/or other CMS solutions as required.
• Collaborate with designers and other team members in the Marketing department to ensure high-quality user experiences
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the main Software Engineering teams from other departments to align on technical requirements and ensure consistent implementation.

What are the requirements?

• 3+ years of TypeScript/JavaScript or equivalent software development experience
• Experience with React
• Experience with Next.js
• Experience with WordPress and Storyblok CMS systems are a plus
• Excellent communication skills and cross group collaboration
• Motivation for constant improvement in performance, availability, automation
• Customer-oriented attitude
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
